• The control system is used for program control of three Leybold vacuum pumps, and characteristics of the electrical control system are described as follows:

  The system can be controlled manually and automatically; 

  The motor can be started directly with thermal protection. 

  The system consists of one main pump and one auxiliary pump. If the main pump fails in operation, it is automatically switched to the auxiliary pump for operation; 

  The control panel is provided with start and stop knobs, an automatic/manual switching knob, an operation indicator light, a fault indicator light, an alarm indicator light, a power indicator light and an alarm reset button; 

  Manual control mode: start and stop any vacuum pump by pressing start and stop buttons, and it is not affected by the degree of vacuum;

  Automatic control mode: 

  1. Automatically start up or shut down the pump according to the workshop air consumption, and adjust the number of pumps operated, so as to ensure that the system output flow keeps abreast of the required flow of workshop devices. 
  2. The two pumps are controlled by PLC program to switch alternately as one main pump and one auxiliary pump; 
  3. In case of system control under automatic state, when one of the vacuum pumps stops operating due to fault, the fault indicator light of the vacuum pump will be on, and the auxiliary vacuum pump will be started immediately for operation. If the degree of vacuum of the system is lower than the set minimum pressure for 30 seconds, the system alarm will give an alarm immediately.

• The integrated vacuum system is designed according to the operation of three single-stage rotary-vane vacuum pumps (one main pump and one auxiliary pump), and consists of pipeline accessories such as Leybold rotary-vane vacuum pump, vacuum filter, vacuum air storage tank, oil-immersed vacuum meter, PLC automatic control box, vacuum sensor, manual ball valve and vacuum check valve.
